Phnom Penh

Hi there everyone!
So it's been some time since we last wrote. Yesterday we arrived to Phnm Penh - the capital of Cambodia. It was a 6-hour bus travel. We chose a local bus which was quite an experience. I slept for like 2 hours, woke up and the picture I saw was quite a surprise: A boy holding plastic bag of his vomits and above him a TV screaming with Cambodian Karaoke:). Anyway, we arrived safe, found a nice hotel and spent the rest of the day exploring the streets of Phnom Penh. Today morning we visited The Killing Fields - a place where the Pol Pot's regime created mass graves - mostly for people tortured in the famous S21 prison (which we also visited later on). Both places are rather depressing. Pol Pot's regime murdered 1/4 of Cambodia's population during 3.5 years of holding power in the country!
We relaxed in the afternoon, visited a local night market and had a beer at the Mekong riverside.
