Hue

Hello from Hue!
We only got here yesterday evening and in a couple of hours we're leaving. But I guess it's enough as far as Hue is concerned. Nothing special. In the morning we visited the Citadele and now we're waiting for the bus that will take us to Hanoi. It's a 13-hour journey so cross your fingers.
Before Hue we were in Hoi An and I wasn't able to post any photos so it's time to show a couple from one of lovliest evenings we've had here. We criused around the town on bikes and it was realy awesome!
I guess it's all for now. Enjoy (and comment :))!

Hoi An

today we got to Hoi An. it was not a very pleasant journey but after 12 hours of struggling with broken bus seats we finally got here. It is so hot that we decided to leave the exploring for later but anyway the town is really nice and cosy.
tomorrow we're leaving for Hue and the day after to Hanoi.

here's an updated map :)

Cold beer on a sunny beach ;)

Hi there!
It's been some time since we last wrote. Well we are in Natrang - it's a holliday resort so we are basically relaxing :) From Saigon we traveled to Mui Ne. Our bus broke down and we were delayed by 4 hours and when arrived it was raining like hell. Next day we saw a sunrise on the sand dunes and then did a bit of swimming in the Southchina sea - but the weather was still cloudy. In the evening yesterday we arrived to Natrang. Although it is raining now the morning hours were really nice. Beaches here are perfect and not crowded at all. We will stay here longer than expected since the bus for tomorrow is full. Now some pictures to annoy a little bit all those, who have to sit in the office right now:)

and here come the best ones ;)

goodbye saigon!

Hi there everyone!

Yesterday afternoon we went to the Chinese district - not too interesting. Today was our second and last day in Saigon. We visited Vietcong tunnels. The whole place is sort of commercial but anyway nice to see. On the bus our guide played a video telling us about a "brave young vietnamese girl, who was armed just with a plain riffle and shot 118 American soldiers alone"... But the most important thing - me and Roland had an opportunity to shoot 10 bullets from AK47:) - it was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures:

Saigon

Hello there!
The trip from Chau Doc to Saigon yesterday was a bit exhausting. After 8 hours on a bus we had a really hard time with finding a hotel that would be both livable and not to expensive. But after visiting about 17 hotrels we finally setteld for a nice hotel on the main street.
Today we visited the War Museum (a bit biased against Americans) and walk a bit around the town. In the afternoon we're going to the Chineese district and tomorrow we'll see the Vietcong tunnels.
After that we stars our journey towards the south (1700km from Saigon to Hanoi) with a few stops on the way. It'll take us about 9 days. i guess it's enough for today. Some photos here:
